Communication & Speech

• Not smiling or making sounds by 2–3 months
• No babbling by 6–7 months
• Not saying simple words (like “mama”) by 12–15 months
• Doesn’t respond to their name

 Social & Emotional

• Little or no eye contact
• Doesn’t show interest in people or play
• Doesn’t smile back at others
• Prefers to be alone most of the time

 Movement (Motor Skills)

• Poor head control after 3–4 months
• Not sitting by around 8 months
• Not crawling or moving by 9–10 months
• Not walking by 18 months

 Thinking & Learning

• Doesn’t follow simple instructions
• Doesn’t explore surroundings (like reaching for toys)
• Difficulty focusing or very limited curiosity

 General Red Flags

• Loss of skills they previously had
• Very stiff or very floppy body
• Feeding difficulties beyond the newborn stage
